Diwali, one of Indiaโs most vibrant festivals, symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. Celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains around the world, the festival lasts five days and is filled with rituals, sweets, and glowing lights.
During this time, homes are thoroughly cleaned and beautifully decorated with oil lamps (diyas). The air is filled with the aroma of festive food as families prepare traditional sweets, exchange gifts, and gather to worship Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity.
As fireworks illuminate the night sky, they symbolize hope, joy, and new beginnings. Beyond the dazzling celebrations, Diwali also serves as a reminder to renew oneโs spirit, forgive others, and spread light and kindness in the lives of those around us.
